1) Can I configure any machine on the network to host the shared databases between controllers?
It is easy to designate a controller machine to host the shared databases. If it is going to be another PC in the network, then that machine has to contain the folder C:\API_XID_EXE which is shared on the network with write permission.

2) How to restrict the usage of this shared API_XID_EXE to selected users in the network?
Create shared permissions or rules at windows level and allow only the access from selected PCs in the network. These PCs are the one where you have installed your Client Software or the other controllers.

3) Can I use two Wall Mount Units on the same Controller?
Yes ONE controller can control up to two WMUs or two doors.

4) Can I install XS PORO-1000 Client Tools on more than one machine?
Yes XS PORO-1000 Client Tools can be installed in more than one machine. However it is recommended to use only one client machine at any given point of time, especially if you are doing enrollment.

5) I have installed XS PRO-1000 for 4 doors in my premises. I have two controllers in total. But I could not see the camera of the controller 2. I always see the camera of the controller 1.
When even you switch between the controllers from any of the XS PRO-1000 Client Tools, it is suggested to first access the controller with the Configuration Manager. This will set up the correct settings for rest of the tools.

6) What is User Enrollment?
To add a new user in the system is called User Enrollment or User Registration.

7) Do I need any license key to activate the Controller?
All the controller boxes are deployed with a pre-installed OS and XS PRO-1000 software. The software is already been activated by XID Operations Team or XID SI or XID Distributor.

8) Do I need a key for the XS PRO-1000 Client Tools?
There is no necessity for a license key or activation for XS PRO-1000 Client Tools

9) Why my Print Preview is not aligned properly?
Your PC/Laptop may not have a printer driver installed or a default printer may not have been set. Please add / install a printer and set the default printer and try again
